Frequently Asked Questions
where do I pick-up my produce?
Saturdays 9:00am-noon. June through mid October.
3002 Cairnwood Drive, Bryn Athyn PA 19009
Where is your produce grown?
Produce is grown in nutrient dense soils at Bryn Athyn Community Gardens, Russell Gardens Wholesale, and in Farmer Andy's backyard.
Are you certified organic?
No. Organic certification is costly and time consuming. We've chosen to focus our energy on improving the soil to grow nutritious local food. All of our produce is grown without chemical 'cides.' We don't need government approval - we want yours! We are pursuing “Certified Naturally Grown”…an alternative to the USDA Organic Program assuring you that we are using accepted organic practices.
Where does the name Amberland come from?
Farmer Andy's parent's Latvian heritage. Amberland is a nickname for Latvia.
